Your whole library, your way
Keep what you're reading, what you've finished and what's next. Make your own lists, save other readers' lists, and bring your Goodreads or StoryGraph history with you.
Why Callima
Keep what you're reading, what you've finished and what's next. Make your own lists, save other readers' lists, and bring your Goodreads or StoryGraph history with you.
Log your page and watch your streaks, pages per day and month-by-month reading come together on their own.
Follow friends and see what they finish. Your next great read comes from people whose taste you trust, not a feed tuned to keep you scrolling.
Every book links to Bookshop.org, so buying a copy supports independent bookstores instead of a warehouse.
Callima is in open beta. Join on iPhone or Android, and tell us what you love and what feels off.
Open beta
Callima is in open beta on iPhone and Android. Here's how to get in, what to expect, and how to tell us what you think.
Join the betaEnter your email on the home page, pick iPhone or Android, and you'll get your invite link right there.
iPhone: the link opens TestFlight, Apple's free app for beta testing. If you don't have it yet, you'll be asked to install it from the App Store first. Then tap Accept and Install.
Android: the link opens Callima's testing page on Google Play. Tap Become a tester, then follow the link to install it from Google Play. It can take a few minutes before Play lets you install.
Yes, and it's free. Sign up in the app with your email or phone number and confirm with a one-time code. No payment details, ever.
Yes. During sign-up, or any time later from your profile, you can import a CSV export. Your shelves, reading dates, ratings and reviews come along.
From Goodreads: My Books → Import and Export → Export Library.
From StoryGraph: Profile → Import/Export → Export Your Data.
Joining the beta signs you up for the Callima newsletter. We use it to send beta news (new builds, what changed, and the occasional question for testers) and occasional updates about Callima. We never sell your email or share it for marketing. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Your beta sign-up is separate from your Callima account, so you can use a different address for each.
The app is real and you can use it every day, but it isn't finished. You'll run into rough edges, the odd bug, and features that change from week to week as we ship updates.
That's the point: please tell us what's broken or what feels wrong.
iPhone: TestFlight installs new builds for you if automatic updates are on, or you can tap Update in TestFlight. Each build expires after 90 days, and we ship new ones well before that.
Android: beta updates arrive through Google Play like any other app update.
Yes. Your account, library and reading progress live on our servers, not only on your phone, so everything you add during the beta stays with you after launch.
If we ever need to reset data during the beta, we'll tell you first.
Email help@daydreamsworkspace.org. Tell us what happened and what you expected; screenshots help a lot.
On iPhone you can also take a screenshot while Callima is open and choose Share Beta Feedback to send it straight to us through TestFlight.
Anything you'd normally do with your books. We especially want to hear about:
There are no wrong answers. If something bugs you, it probably bugs someone else too.
Yes. Beta or not, we treat your data the way we will at launch: passwords are hashed, all traffic is encrypted over HTTPS, and we don't sell or share your information. Read the Privacy Policy for the details.
Email help@daydreamsworkspace.org and we'll delete your account and all its data within 30 days. To stop beta emails, use the unsubscribe link in any of them.
Every bug report and idea makes Callima better for everyone. We read every email.

Daydreams Workspace ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Callima mobile app (the "App") and this website. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
We collect information you provide directly:
We also collect limited data automatically when you use the App:
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your reading data to serve advertisements.
We share data only with the services needed to run the App:
All third-party providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only to provide services to us.
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time by emailing help@daydreamsworkspace.org; we act on deletion requests within 30 days. Beta sign-up emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them.
Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, though no system is completely secure.
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at help@daydreamsworkspace.org.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will tell you about material changes through the App or by email. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
